About Javi

Javi has a degree in cinematography from UDD University in Chile, which she complemented with a year at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. While still in university, she was head of the wardrobe department for the movie 7 Weeks, which was nominated among the 10 best films in Chile.

At the beginning of 2018, Javi moved to New York for a yearlong internship at Final Cut and then became an assistant colorist at Nice Shoes, where she stayed until finally joining Color Collective in 2021 through 2025. Javi is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business in New York City, broadening her creative expertise with a foundation in leadership and strategic business thinking.

Her love for adventure, film, and art has led her to travel the world, visiting more than 30 countries. You can usually find her on her days off outside in the sun with a poetry book and her Scottish Fold cat, Percy.
